Installing components on a Windows file server

Some components of the Publisher must be installed on the Windows file server from which documents will be published to the destination system.

For information about the security rights required for the Windows file system publishing service, see Understanding the security requirements.

To install components on the Meridian Enterprise application server:

1. Start the Publisher setup program. The InstallShield Wizard for BlueCielo Publisher dialog appears.
2. Click Next. The Destination Folder page appears.
3. Accept the default folder or click Change to select a different folder.
4. Click Next. The Custom Setup page appears.
5. In the Publishing Tools branch, click the drive button next to Windows file system publishing service and select This feature will be installed on local hard drive.
6. Click Next. The Ready to Install the Program page appears.
7. Click Install. The Installing BlueCielo Publisher page appears and shows the installation status until the installation has completed and the InstallShield Wizard Completed page appears.
8. Click Finish to close the wizard.
